Virtual Day at the Capitol
2021
May 4th, 2021

Join advocates across Pennsylvania as we come together virtually to meet with legislators to advocate for crucial tobacco control issues throughout the Commonwealth. During this virtual event, youth & adult lung health advocates alike will unite to educate state legislators on the Master Settlement Agreement (MSA) funding and why it is so essential to tobacco cessation & prevention programs, as well as the importance of clean indoor air especially during the pandemic.
Make your voice heard, from the comfort of your home!
Advocacy Training
No advocacy experience? No problem! You can have a huge impact during Day at the Capitol even if it’s your first advocacy event. Plus, we’ll be offering an advocacy training webinar for anyone who wants to learn how to be an effective advocate.
Legislative Visits
Students and tobacco control advocates are invited to participate in conference calls with state legislators to discuss the importance of their work and/or passion for tobacco prevention & control to help showcase the increasing importance of funding for our programs.
