If you talk to a legislator, PACT wants to hear about it! Knowing how legislators respond to conversations about tobacco control issues helps PACT identify champions and determine whose support we still need.
Day at the Capitol 2018
We are very happy to announce that this year’s Day at the Capitol will be held on May 1st, 2018 at the Pennsylvania State Capitol in Harrisburg!
This one-day event, held in Harrisburg for individuals to come together and meet with legislators to provide education on important tobacco control issues throughout the Commonwealth. The primary advocacy topics of focus will be to educate legislators on sustaining Master Settlement Agreement (MSA) dollars to support necessary tobacco cessation and prevention programs and services, as well as the importance of increasing the minimum sales age for tobacco products to 21 to eliminate or reduce youth tobacco initiation.
