About Us

Mission

The Pennsylvania Alliance to Control Tobacco (PACT) is a statewide coalition dedicated to strengthening tobacco control laws across the Commonwealth.

History

Founded in 2001 by the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association and American Lung Association, PACT advocates for tobacco control and helps Pennsylvanians learn about tobacco control issues.

Today, as a contractor of the Pennsylvania Department of Health, PACT works with local coalitions and national health organizations to educate the public and elected officials about clean indoor air, tobacco taxes, and other critical tobacco control issues.
